The piano finish is the gold standard of wood finishes. Most of the pianos that we restore are older high quality American made pianos such as Steinway, Mason and Hamlin and the like. |

For these pianos we use lacquer which is applied in several coats and hand rubbed to the desired sheen. Newer pianos and nearly all of the imported pianos are finished with polyester, an extremely durable high gloss finish. We specialize in this finish and use the finest Italian polyester resins available. Either way the results are stunning. |
